Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Course
Who should attend?
The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course is for those engaged in administrative, process and manufacturing activities who will be leading medium sized improvement projects, who will be regularly involved in continuous improvement activities and who wish to understand the benefits of applying both Lean business efficiency techniques and Six Sigma process reliability techniques.
The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course enables candidates to understand and apply all the core Lean and Six Sigma techniques which improve process reliability and efficiency, enabling projects to be completed that yield significant business benefits.
On completion of the course trainees will be able to:
Lead small - medium sized improvement projects which yield significant business benefits
Use Lean and Six Sigma techniques effectively
Manage and mentor both Lean and Six Sigma improvement project teams to drive effective change
Course duration (format):
10 days (5 + 5)
Candidates will receive completion certificates in recognition of full attendance of this course.
Candidates will be awarded a ‘Practitioner’ certificate on completion and successful submission of a Green Belt improvement project final report.
The process uses project review to assess abilities against a number of key competencies, ensuring that both the theoretical and the practical application of the methodology are rigorously evaluated.
The certification process is designed to build upon a structured training programme and includes reviews of the applicant's performance in completing relevant improvement projects. Successful applicants receive Paloma certificates and are included on our Website database of accredited belts. A British Quality Foundation Lean Six Sigma Academy certificate may be requested upon successful completion of Paloma certification
